About Kodiak Brewing & This Site
History & Evolution
Kodiak Brewing began in 2009 as a simple beer blog to share my homebrew recipes with friends and fellow enthusiasts. Located in Snohomish, WA, I brewed all my beers using artesian water from our well, and the site quickly became a hub for sharing my passion for craft beer and homebrewing.
Over time, my interests grew beyond just beer. Frankly, I got a little bored with writing only about brewing, and I wanted a space to share more of what excites me. So, Kodiak Brewing evolved into a broader platform where I now post about my vintage audio hobby, statistics and data analysis, video editing software, and whatever else captures my curiosity.
If you’re here for beer, you’ll still find plenty of recipes and brewing tips. But don’t be surprised if you see posts about classic stereo gear, statistical concepts, or video editing tricks. My interests are vast, and this site is a reflection of that journey!
